RUTIS (Association of Third Age Universities Network) is a Private Institution of Social Solidarity (IPSS) and Public Utility that supports the community and the senior population in a national and international level. The main objectives of RUTIS are the promotion of active ageing and the valorization of Senior Universities (registered name, by RUTIS, as a Registered Trademark in the National Institute of Industrial Property) being these “the social response, which aims to create and regularly stimulate social, cultural, educational and social activities, preferably for and by those over 50 years old. The educational activities are in a non-formal regime, without the purpose of certification and in the context of lifelong learning”.
DomSpain is an adult education organization specialised in the field of education and training, vocational studies, occupational, social and intercultural skills, languages and new technologies.
In education, DomSpain is specialised in foreign languages, computer technology and cultural heritage offering a wide range of courses and workshops to private entities and town halls within the Tarragona province. DomSpain offers courses which can be tailored to the specific needs of our participants in any form (monographic, long-term or intensive courses, online e-learning, etc.). In addition, it organises, designs and runs all types of trainings, immersion programmes abroad, job shadowing, etc., for students, educators, academic and administrative staff or people who want to work abroad. Their courses are designed for anyone looking for an improvement in their job capacities and skills, open to new experiences without dropping their studies or those who need to be trained in language or cultural and intercultural skills. At the same time, they work to improve the educational level of teachers, academies and training centres as well as to provide guidance and help to schools and their teachers to implement technologies and innovative teaching methods. All this is possible thanks to their integrated upgrade in training curriculum, which provides both teachers and learners with a better competence in a wide range of topics.
DomSpain has a technical department that from one side provides trainings on technology resources for educators and leaners and, from the other side, designs and develops open educational resource platforms.
The «Emphasys Centre» began operating in 1998, as a related company to «A & A Emphasys Interactive Solutions Ltd» (due to common ownership), a successful company specialising in consultancy, software and support services in the field of ICT.
The «Emphasys Centre» is approved by the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture as an Educational and Vocational Centre specialing in the field of ICT and by the Cyprus Human Resource Authority. It is also authorized by the ECDL Foundation and the Council of Europe Information Scientists (CEPIS) to offer speciliased training courses for the acquisition of the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL).
Within the area of education and training the «Emphasys Centre» is authorised by the British Council of Cyprus and the Cambridge International Examination Board to teach GCE A’ Level Computing and organise various exams, as an approved examination centre. The high quality of its work in the area of education and training has been acknowledged as in the last 5 years student of the«Emphasys Centre» are awarded by the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) at the «Cambridge Outstanding Achiever Awards Ceremony» for taking the highest marks in Cyprus for the GCE A’ Level Computing examinations in Cyprus.
As an educational institution the «Emphasys Centre» offers high quality courses for adults, professionals and young people interested in obtaining professional qualification or attain vocational training for employment.
The «Emphasys Centre» has been involved greatly in the last 18 years in organising custom-made in-service training courses for the employees of various companies and organisations in the private and public sector based on their ICT needs and requirements. Regarding its involvement in education, students (10-18 yrs old) can join one of the courses for acquiring the professional qualification of the ECDL, the “European Computer Driving License” diploma which is approved, validated and accredited worldwide, as a valid certificate of ICT.
The «Emphasys Centre» is also actively involved in the Erasmus+ Key Action 1 – Learning Mobility (Staff, trainers, young people) by offering a wide selection of courses for personal and professional development in the area of ICT for educators:
The North-East Regional Development Agency (ADR Nord-Est) is a public utility NGO, established in 1999, in Piatra Neamt, Romania, and currently has, as main function, that of an intermediate body for the implementation of the Regional Operational Programme 2014 – 2020. Our mission is to generate economic and social development in the North-East Region of Romania. We promote strategies, attract resources, identify and implement financing programmes and offer services for stimulating sustainable economic development, partnerships and entrepreneurial spirit. Within ADR Nord-Est, the North-East Regional Studies Centre (CRS Nord-Est) caters to adult learners interested in specialising in areas such as: project management, executive management, human resources, public procurement, financial management, expert in accessing European funds, top level management, training management and project evaluator. Our teachers and classes are accredited by the National Authority for Qualifications. The class curriculum is designed by experts in the respective fields.
Foundation Institute of Social Re-Integration (Fundacja Instytut Re-Integracji SpoĹ‚ecznej IRIS) The Foundation’s main goal is broadly understood cultural and artistic education of children, adolescents and adults, mainly in the non-formal sphere. The Foundation was established on December 30, 2016. The Institute creates international multilateral consortia, thanks to which it deepens Europe’s cohesion and promotes pro-European citizenship. The Foundation supports all young creative people who want to deepen their passions, publicly proclaim their beliefs and improve the world, even in ideological terms.
Established in 1970, Consorzio Brianteo Villa Greppi is an Italian Public Body and its associates are 15 local municipalities (based in Lombardy Region, north of Italy). Its mission is to promote continuing vocational training, organize and manage cultural activities together with associations, institutions and schools, preserve and enhance cultural heritage, organize supporting services for educational initiatives. It is the owner of Villa Greppi, a classic mansion with high historical and cultural value, built at the beginning of XIX century. Most of the activities are realized in the mansion, as well as in properties belonging to the Consorzio’s associates. Among its objectives, it has the promotion of the territory and the management of cultural activities on the area. It has an active network with primary and secondary schools involving over 2.000 students and over 30 civil society associations and cultural organizations. Today, the Consorzio is the heart of a wide cultural network, with a rich cultural programme in various sectors. It has strong experiences in production and organization of high quality cultural activities for different target groups (children, students, young people, adults and older people), in different fields like remembrance, visual arts, performing arts and theater, cinema, music, conferences and exhibitions. Each field is coordinated by a scientific expert with specific competences, to guarantee high quality initiatives and trainings.
